Objecting and Funding With Essay
Within the 3 objective funding’s (youth clubs, FA and bath sports centre) they all have the same aim and standard’s of what they want to achieve. They all want more and more people to come and take part in there activities and get some of there friends interested in what there services they have to offer within the 3 areas.
With the target groups they all want more people to come in either there clubs or sporting organisations as sporting participation is on the rise and a lot of money has been invested within the whole sports area in general.
The facilities are all based on abilities and age group, like for a FA footballer they will have a better quality gym that someone a lot younger than the footballers. But with the sports centre and the youth clubs they will have similar facilities as they target people with the same age group and may have the OD one or two older people coming into there centre.
With all 3 areas they all have a different pricing scale as youth clubs can be found close to where people live and 9 time out of 10 wont charge for people to come in and use there facilities where sports centre they have a pricing structure based on age and what they want to do either gym, pool or use the court. But then the FA footballer gets all he needs within his club or team they might play for.
For working with outside the organisation they all have partners they can get funding from bringing them some more money into there corporation.
They government will invest money into what they see can make a different to other people but depending on what they want to get the grant for they will invest different amounts of money as the FA received £5 million pound to help finish a project and a further £40 million to help football clubs at lower levels. Most youth clubs get by on less than £10000 a year, often with at least some of this coming from their local authority. The government gave £170,000 from 08-2011
For the FA they can get sponsorship from brands that they have for the merchandise and commercials that players may do. From the sports centre they have 8 people investing money into the organisation. Youth clubs get money from other places but don’t get any from non government grants.
Sports centre will have a range of ways to pay either become a member will cost a small sum of money (£30-50) for a certain amount of time. Youth clubs they get some money from people just coming on the day and paying a small sum (£1) for FA footballers in there contract they will get the money that they earn and a small percentage taken from there money.
The FA has a wide range of websites were they can sell some of there merchandise and season tickets and other equipment and there net interest is worth £22 million. The government will give a £100,000- 200,000 to spend on there youth side of there corporation and organisation.
FA you can get deals on season tickets and travel cost and places to stay at when going to watch the team that you support. Youth clubs they give you a towel bottle and some other stuff free when you join up for there gym.
The FA get £50 million from lottery funding for 1000 projects, to spend on there lower footballing teams at different ages. Sport England have named 42 projects that will benefit a £10 million from lottery funding to help kids getting active and not staying in and playing game consoles
Bath sports Centre have a private investors £400,000 into making there sports centre better. FA have sponsorships and other brands that will bring money into the FA’s funding. Depending if someone thinks investing money into youth clubs then they will invest some money and get a percentage back.
Donations for the FA will get parking passes and season tickets and alcoholic products. Sports centre will give you a taster sessions with there instructors and give you free stuff for you to get interested in joining up.
